Hi, I’m Holly, owner and hairstylist at Salon 86.

Thank you for checking things out. Let me tell you a little bit about me, and my salon.

I grew up in the country north of London, ON. I left London to study journalism at Carleton University to become a fashion writer. Instead, I graduated with a BA in Law and minor in Mass Communication, and moved to Toronto. After working at a law firm, I found myself still yearning to work in the fashion industry, and did so for many years.
In 2016 I decided I needed a change and enrolled at the Aveda Hair Institute, and have loved doing hair ever since.

Many things have changed since I started. Our daughter was born early 2020 and my husband and I decided to move our growing family to London. We bought a home in Orchard Park and fell in love with its natural beauty and sense of community. In 2022 we welcomed our son.

Through all these major changes, one thing has remained the same. My dedication to the craft of hairdressing, and the love I have for building relationships with my clients. I care about doing good hair, and I also care about you, your self care, and your experience at my salon. This motivates me to be my best, so I can help you feel your best.

Salon 86 is located in the neighbourhood of Orchard Park, London, ON. It is one of my happy places, and I hope some day it will also be one of yours. I look forward to meeting you, and to strengthening my relationship with my community as a small business owner.
